Lucy is pursuing her Master of Business Administration with the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (2020) from the University of Malawi and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management (2008) from the Association of Business Executives (ABE). Lucy has a strong administrative background with over 5 years of proven and extensive experience at middle level as Administrator for Postgraduate Studies; and over 10 years in Secretarial services for The University of Malawi (Chancellor College as well as MUBAS) with a focus towards clientele management.

Lucy’s expertise includes; delivery of exceptional results through strong leadership and public speaking abilities with enhanced stakeholder management and strategic planning. She has excellent expertise in logistics and compliant management, servicing committee meetings and handling multiple stakeholder needs. She is very creative in delivering innovative solutions in any industry. She is very reliable and an excellent team player; energetic, results- oriented and always willing to go the extra mile.

Her main areas of interest are in project management, science communication, research management and administration, compliance, research ethics and Integrity. Lucy is currently undergoing training in her areas of interest.

Lucy is currently working on 2 projects that are meant to build capacity for the MUBAS Research Support Unit; the Transforming Higher Education project  (USAID) and Strengthening Capacity (SARIMA-Gates Foundation).  In her free time, Lucy is a singer and farmer.
