Aswell Dziwe Researcher in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management in the School of Built Environment at MUBAS. His research interest in Procurement, Dispute Resolution, Quantity Surveying Practice, Contract Administration, Public Private Partnership and Collaborative working relationships.

He lecturers in the undergraduate Quantity Surveying and Land Economy degree programs covering Construction Management, Quantity Surveying Practice, Professional Practice, Construction Law and Administration, Dispute Resolution, Environmental Impact Assessment and Estimation and Tendering. Aswell is an active member of various professional bodies – a Chartered of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb); Professional Member Board of Architects and Quantity Surveyors and Member Surveyors Institute of Malawi (MSIM).
