Dickson Ndenguma is a result-oriented, hardworking and morally principled Senior Lecturer. He earned his PhD with specialization in heat transfer (heating and cooling processes) from the University of Pretoria, RSA in 2018. Dickson worked for Malawi Industrial Research and Technology Development Centre (MIRTDC) as a Research Officer (Appropriate Technology) for six years before he embarked on an academic career. The work involved the identification of technology needs for SMEs and the design and realization of Appropriate Technologies to fill up the existing gaps. Since 2000 he has worked for UNIMA and later, MUBAS in various positions, including Head of Technical Education Department and Dean in the Faculty of Education and Media Studies. He has several journal publications and conference papers, presentations and has supervised student research and innovation work both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
