On 10 June 2026, the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences Research Ethics Committee, through its Compliance Office, conducted a compliance training session for the WASHTED research team. Facilitated by Lucy Moyo, this compliance training was aimed at strengthening researchers’ understanding of ethical principles and professional conduct.
The training covered key topics such as community engagement, data management and collection, compliance with ethical standards, and responsible decision-making in the workplace. Participants actively engaged in discussions and practical sessions that emphasized the importance of maintaining high ethical standards in both professional and personal settings.
