MOOVE Project team after the compliance training session.
On Friday, 26th June 2026, the MUBASREC Secretariat conducted a compliance training session for the MOOVE Project team, marking the conclusion of their intensive one‑week protocol training that began on 22nd June 2026.
This session, facilitated by Compliance Officer Lucy Moyo, emphasized the critical role of compliance in ensuring that research is conducted ethically, transparently, and in line with international standards.
Key areas of emphasis were;
- Essential Documents: Keep accurate records before, during, and after studies.
- Monitoring: Protect participants, ensure protocol adherence, and verify data.
- Informed Consent: Ongoing respectful dialogue, voluntary and culturally sensitive.
- Data Privacy: Secure storage, encryption, and separation of consent forms from raw data.
- Data Transfer Agreements: Safeguard trust and compliance when sharing data.
