Research Ethics Training

MUBASREC shall guide its researchers on general procedures for the attainment of research of the highest ethical and scientific rigour. Hence, MUBASREC requires all principal researchers to adhere to guidelines that will enable the protection of research participants when conducting research.

Basic Research Ethics Training

All researchers planning to conduct research studies with human subjects are required to have ethics certification from GHTC (Global Health Training Centre).

Ethics Capacity Building

The Unit conducts, promotes, and facilitates training in research ethics and research methodology for researchers, postgraduate students, and REC members.
